From Bain & Company to applied AI

Hichem Ben Fadhl spent 10 years at Accenture as Senior Manager and Capital Markets Practice Leader in Paris, then 2 years at Bain & Company in Dubai where he led strategy engagements for governments and financial institutions in the Gulf. This dual expertise — tier-1 strategic consulting and intimate knowledge of emerging markets — is the foundation of the TLedger approach.

He then co-founded Banque Zitouna (Tunisia's first Islamic bank, now 650 employees and 110 branches), led International Maghreb Merchant Bank as CEO, and founded CDC Gestion with the Caisse des Dépôts (100 million dinar fund). Advisor to three Tunisian ministers, he initiated and led the Tunisian Startup Act and advised the President of the Tunisia Investment Authority.

Today, Hichem combines this operational experience with applied AI. In 2026, on behalf of Expertise France, he designed a national generative AI framework for Tunisian Chambers of Commerce — 9 production use cases for economic intelligence and export. As Associate Director at Bredhill Consulting in Paris, he leads AI transformation programs for BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Société Générale and Groupe Les Mousquetaires (Intermarché).
